TUO arranges multiple events during the school year. All of the events are open to everyone but you get a discount off the entrée fee with TUO’s member card. Some of our events are organized together with other student organizations. In addition to traditional student parties TUO organizes sport events, well-being activities and international fests.
The biggest events of TUO have around 2000 participants. These events are the Love boat cruise (Lemmenlautta) in spring and the freshman party (Keltanokkabileet) in the autumn.
The events representative also participates, along with the student unions of other universities, in arranging common events, and if needed the representative participates in the event organisation of the educational field associations and the government.
