The student union works actively in international matters regarding students. In association with the government of the University of Applied Sciences, the other universities of Turku and local associations we aim to develop activities internationalisation of the students. We are taking part in organising the events of the GetFinternational course. The student union’s international representative represents the students of the Turku University of Applied Sciences in the international work group. The representative works with the schools international coordinators and in group with the other universities international representatives.
The student union aims to improve the position of international students in the university world. It also aims to give information about the student union and student events in English. The student union supports exchange students as well as students leaving on exchange.
You can easily join in on the international activities through ESN-IAC as well as through GetFinternational (iac(at)students.turkuamk.fi). The international team attempts to organise international events, where Finns and other nationalities can meet and get to know each others cultures (http://getfinternational.tuas.fi/).
