Student Union – TUO (cooperation with: TUO - Student services Ltd.) has rented three flats (A1,A2, A3) for visiting guests. They all are situated at the Unit of Technology, Environment and Business in Turku. The address is Sepänkatu 1, 20700 Turku.
There is kitchenware (plates, saucepans, glasses etc.) in every flat so guests can make their own breakfasts and other meals, too. There are also bed linen and towels. The guests have to take care of the basic cleaning of the flat during their stay. On visits longer than one week, the cleaners come to clean the flats on Fridays.
A1
In the flat A1 there is one bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a room which is part of the living room but which can be used as another bedroom (there is a sliding door). There is enough room for three guests. There is also a tv, two radios with alarm clock and an internet connection stick in the flat. The guests can use that internet connection stick with their own laptop. There is not a computer.

In the flat A2 there is one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. There is room for three guests. There is also a tv, two radios with alarm clock and an internet connection stick in the flat. The guests can use that internet connection stick with their own laptop. There is not a computer.
A3
In the flat A3 there is one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. There is room for two guests. There is also a tv, two radios with alarm clock and an internet connection stick in the flat. The guests can use that internet connection stick with their own laptop. There is not a computer.
Student Union - TUO has the reservation list and those who want to reserve flats can send e-mail to guesthouse(at)opiskelijakunta.net (tel.+358 45 853 8088). Please tell the name of the guest, his/her date of arrival and departure and who pays the rent. You will receive confirmation via email, when reservation has done. The reservations should be made one (1) month before the reservation takes place.
The keys of the flat can be picked up a couple of days before the guest arrives (if the previous guest has returned the key) from Sepänkatu unit’s book store. The key must be returned to the same place. In special case guest can leave the keys in the flat.The person who makes the reservation is responsible for the keys and has to remember to see that the guest is able get to the flat when he/she arrives.
The guests are asked to leave the flat in the morning of the day of the departure. (The flat will be cleaned after 12 o’clock.)
Animals are not allowed in the flats.

If the person pays the rent him/herself, he/she must come and pay it in cash or credit card to book store at Sepänkatu. Please inform the guest about normal office hours when it is possible to pay.
If the field of study pays the rent, the person who has made the reservation has to ask for an internal transfer and this should be done as soon as the guest has left. These are the basic rules for the flats. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
